Presidential hopefuls Obama and McCain are expected to spend, combined, thirty million dollars per week--per week--on political ads between now (Oct 16th 2008) and November 4th, 2008. That's not quite a full three weeks but, since I'm math challenged, let's call it three weeks, or ninety million dollars.

Forgive me if I'm nitpicking, but isn't that, relatively speaking, compared to Joe-(maybe not)-the-Plumber's income and mine, almost one tenth of one billion dollars, and isn't that almost point-zero-one-two-eight-five percent (.01285%)--i.e., $700,000,000,000.00 multplied by .0001285--of the
Campbell Brown said what I've been thinking for the past ... I dunno ... three ...? ... decades regarding this obscene spending habit that politicians have. Watch and listen:

Politicans just love spending tax- payers money. I think they think it's a gift to them to use how they choose.
